Chino, Nagano, Japan｜茶処山里

This coffee shop seems to be a gathering place for fans of the Touhou Project, so I stopped by while my son was on a pilgrimage to a sacred place. There were no other customers, so the owner's wife and I talked about various stories from other fans. The wife runs the business by herself and there are no fixed holidays so she doesn't know when she will be closed. During the coronavirus pandemic, I was wondering what the illustrations on acrylic boards looked like now, and I found that a new shelf had been built and the acrylic boards were displayed there. They carefully displayed the illustrations and stuffed animals left behind by fans, and when I saw them, I could see why fans were coming together. For my meal, I ordered Zaru Soba. They also served soba soup and it was delicious. Both my son and I were allowed to draw illustrations in our memory notebooks.

After visiting the main shrine, I stopped by as it had just opened. We had a butter cake and apple juice from the sweets set and had a quiet and relaxing time. It was a fun time to talk with a kind mother. I will definitely stop by when I visit Maemiya again ☺

It was a great place with a calm atmosphere. Most of the Touhou-related items are brought in by customers. It's right next to the main shrine, so it's easy to stop by.
