Ever since I came across ``authentic'' oyaki, which is different from the typical oyaki, I always buy and eat oyaki whenever I come to Nagano. In the Azumino area, the only choice was "Sakata Kashiho," but this time I wanted to try something new, so I visited "Ushikoshi." The store itself is small, but there are about 7 women inside. are struggling to make oyaki together shoulder to shoulder. It looks absolutely delicious. The ash-grilled oyaki that was served was huge! wild! Not feminine? The masculine visuals will make you go crazy. I bought four types (250 yen each): ona, cheese, dried daikon radish, and mixed vegetables. ``Ona'' has a mild flavor with both Nozawana and miso. On the other hand, with ``Kiriboshi Daikon'', the radish itself is bland, but the miso is direct. The most interesting ``cheese'' this time is diced cheese that doesn't melt, even though I thought it would be a melty cheese. But it goes without saying that cheese and miso go well together. And my number one choice was ``Vegetable Mix.'' The cheese won't melt, but the eggplant will. The miso sauce was also perfect for this eggplant. This time we opened another new store, but why is Azumino's oyaki so high-quality? I definitely want to eat Ushikoshi again and again.

When I went there at 12:30 the day before, it was already sold out. I took revenge the next day and was able to purchase it safely. If you make a reservation over the phone, you can be sure of your purchase. Reservations are recommended. The location is a narrow road and there is a parking lot for about 4 cars. Inside the store, several people were hard at work grilling oyaki on a stone grill, and it looked like it was going to be delicious. Each piece costs 250 yen. I bought Nozawa and eggplant! I have eaten oyaki several times during my travels. The concept of oyaki has been overturned! The dough was firm and tasted like freshly baked bread! One piece was so large that I was full! So there is also volume. If you come to Azumino, please stop by! it's recommended!

This has been my favorite oyaki restaurant since a cyclist who lives in Nagano brought me here a few years ago. Unique shape like a round rice ball. It seems that the method of grilling is stone-grilled, which is unusual. It's a little stiff, but I like it that way. Popular stores are often sold out by the afternoon. This time I came to the store cycling alone from Hakuba. I received some cheese at the store's eat-in space, mixed it up and sent it frozen to my home.
