Omachi, Nagano, Japan｜Ryudaya Cafe & Cakes

Visited on a holiday evening in September 2023. There were about 3 seats in the back, and they were empty, so I was able to sit down without having to wait. I ordered a seasonal Shine Muscat cake as part of the cake set. The sweetness was just right. I heard that the roll cake is famous, so I would like to try the roll cake next time. Drinks are only coffee and tea and may not be suitable for children. I don't think there is a problem if you can be satisfied with just cake or soft serve ice cream at the store.

I have used it many times and the taste of fresh cream is really delicious 😋 The sponge was also fluffy and delicious! The inside of the store has a Showa era atmosphere that I fell in love with! When I asked the staff at the store, they told me that they are very particular about the ingredients they use, and they don't use margarine at all, only butter to make their baked goods! No matter which one you eat, it has a strong buttery flavor and you feel refreshed after eating it, so you can eat as many as you like! Recommended items are leaf pie and almond cookies, and even though prices are soaring, I'm glad you can buy them at that price ☺️ I hope you continue to do your best!

I had stopped at a coffee shop before that and was told they would close early that day, so I timidly asked, ``Can I eat inside?'' The staff greeted me with a kind smile, and I was shivering from the unseasonably cold weather. It really warmed my heart that they placed a stove in front of us. The cake I received had a delicate taste with fresh cream that was not too sweet and melted in the mouth 🍰✨ Many of the cakes were sold out, so I would like to try the other ones 🤍
