Azumino, Nagano, Japan｜Hitsujiya

Originally came to enquire about bikes but stayed for lunch! A delicious, hearty vegetable curry followed by not-so-sweet baked cheesecake served with watermelon juice/shake. Watermelon drink was super refreshing, a highlight of the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive and served us desserts immediately having asked us beforehand. Overall, good food, calm ambience and friendly people - would recommend especially going at lunch for their amazing lunch deals!

A very chill place that uses mainly local products. I had craft cola, vinegar with plum, and oyaki with miso-ed eggplant. The oyaki was bomb. Highly recommended.
