Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Laboratorio

An excellent place to stop for tea or coffee if you're in Matsumoto. It's on the first floor, with lots of seating. We had their tart of the day, sweet potato, which had amazing pastry. Really good coffee as well. The perfect stop if you are walking between Matsumoto Castle and the train station. They also sell cards and various teas.

Unfortunately I did not have a chance to eat here, but the interior of this place is on another level. Very cool!

We came here twice and loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and retro. Staff is friendly. They have good Wi-Fi. Prices are very good for the shaved ice and the coffee tasted good. The only downside is that the tables are a little small if you have a laptop but we still managed.
