Tateshina, Nagano, Japan｜Shiokado

Cute little place with tables and private rooms. Mostly take outs, but service is good if you stay, as well. Cute plates and cups, drinks are also pretty good. Previously known for Japanese food/dessert before renewal, but you won't be disappointed with Western style sweets, either.

I visited on Sunday afternoon. There are two parking lots in front of the store and three across the road, both of which can be easily parked if you have a small or light car. Eat-in is on the second floor. I take off my shoes and go up the stairs, but it feels like I'm visiting a friend's house. If you order and wait on the second floor, they will bring it to you. The store clerk closed the door and left, so it was a private feeling MAX. The roll cake was not too sweet and the sweet and sour taste of the fruit accentuated it and it was very delicious. It's a small shop. There are 2 tables, counter seats, and an eat-in space on the second floor. There is also a slope. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the store and 3 on the other side of the road. There are Western sweets such as pudding, cream puffs, and roll cakes, as well as skewered dumplings, mugwort rice cakes, Japanese sweets such as dorayaki, and mixed rice. They also sell drinks. All are delicious. By the way, it is also possible to bring it to Hajimaru Cafe nearby and eat it. It's nice to work together locally.
