Miyota, Nagano, Japan｜Le Passe-Thé

I live outside the prefecture now, but I always stop by when I return to my parents' house. A stylish shop located a little way from the national highway. It is located after passing through a tunnel of trees that looks like something out of a Ghibli movie. I always order scones and tea. There are two types of meals, but both are delicious as I have never eaten elsewhere. Even my daughter, who doesn't like raw vegetables, ate this salad. The scones are warm and crispy, and the clotted cream and jam that comes with them is beyond words. A shop that is as good as the popular shops in the city. Proud to have this store locally.

I found it on my way from Saku to Nakakaruizawa. This cafe is built on a gentle slope and has a half-timbered exterior. When you sit down, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. All of the food and drinks pictured below were delicious, and I could feel the owner's care in preparing them😊I would like to go there again. Thank you for the meal😊

Enjoy delicious cakes and parfaits while gazing at the Sakudaira and Yatsugatake mountains below. I got a peach parfait this year. The peach compote was naturally sweet and delicious. Baked sweets such as financiers are also delicious.
