Just had coffee so can't rate the food. Coffee was great. So was the service. Friendly couple with a cute cat. The place is ok for smoking which is a big issue for me hence the 4 on atmosphere.

On August 5, 2013, I went to the cafe "Kawanruma" in Karuizawa. This is a cafe where the hot air roasting machine for the shop I frequent is being made. The store was filled with motorcycle goods. I had the Ethiopian Yirgachefe wotte. I think I asked about the roast level, but I can't remember, maybe medium roast. It was the most fragrant and delicious coffee I've ever had. The second generation taught us how to brew coffee and took a commemorative photo. Although it was a short time, I had a great time.

A shop where you can buy specialty coffee beans at low prices. I was able to purchase two types of beans for espresso.
