Nagano, Japan｜春陽(はるひ)

Bit by bit. According to the weather forecast, it will rain in the afternoon. It's light blue rain. It's not a cafe but a cake shop today. Of course, but sweets. Eat in at "Shunyo" near Zenkoji Temple. ``Walnut tart'', ``cheesecake'', ``strawberry and sweet summer roll cake'', and wine🍷. I'm happy to be able to have wine 🍷 at a cake shop. The sweetness of the cake, which does not rely on sugar, goes well with wine. And it was a delicious cake. We had a relaxing time at the counter seat facing the street, watching the continuous rain fall. The owner was a one-person operation, so I felt a "craftsman" atmosphere that was different from a cafe. Not only the menu and tableware, but also the accessories and dried flowers inside the store had a sense of taste and were pleasant.

I stopped by during tea time while visiting Zenkoji Temple. It's a small, stylish cafe in town. I don't know if it was an old house that was renovated, but the wooden beams and pillars looked nice. The cakes are handmade and some are limited edition depending on the season. I would like to visit again in another season and try other cakes.

When I visited the store a week ago, I was greeted with a smile and had a good time. Cheesecake was delicious. It wasn't overbearing or pricked. There was a description on the menu to ask for one item per person, but it is natural because it is a shop. However, the fork was wooden and the cheesecake stuck to it, making it difficult to eat.
