Obuse, Nagano, Japan｜Sakurai-kanseido Kurinoki Terrace

There are not many tourists in Obushi Town, not even many Japanese. The town is very quiet, with narrow roads and few pedestrians. However, there are several art galleries worth visiting here, as well as the famous chestnut cake~ Xiaobusi Tang is definitely the most famous, but that restaurant is only open for 2 to 3 hours every day, so you can’t sit down and taste it quietly. This chestnut shop is in European style, and the price is only 1/3 of the other one. The European style decoration is very comfortable and warm. There are many varieties of tea. It is recommended to order a set, plus try the seasonal and matcha-flavored snacks, which are extremely delicious~

Visited this cafe during winter. Interior is cosy and inviting. Was pleasantly surprised that Tues (limited period) has a special price of 800¥ for a set (coffee + cake). Do check it out if you are in the vicinity where mont blanc is this town's speciality.

Such a elegant and peaceful place!! They have a lot of options for tea :) It's a great place to sit and chat with friends!
