Work in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. A coffee shop in the Showa era where I visited to adjust the time. A cheerful welcome from our three female staff members! It was a very pleasant shop with the echoing voices. Since I skipped breakfast, I ordered the gratin toast set. Salad and coffee were also included, and the taste and quantity were good. Morning (toast coffee) is very reasonable at 400 yen. There are various other menu items, and it is also recommended for lunch. Smoking is allowed inside the store, which is great for smokers! The entrance to the store is a little difficult to find, so it's best to check it out before you go. The inside of the store is a very cozy Showa-era coffee shop with a traditional structure and nostalgic oldies music playing in the background.

A pure cafe founded in 1971. It is located on the second floor of the building opposite the Iwaki Guest House at the Hiranakacho intersection. A large ship's helm is hung on the wall. It seems that it did not fall even in that big earthquake. There are 5 counter seats and 11 table seats. There is also a table with a nostalgic mahjong game machine, but you cannot use it. There is a morning service from 7am to 11am. There are two types: set A, which includes thick toast, Yakult, and coffee, and set B, which comes with salad. A set of 6 slices of toast, real Yakult, and coffee costs 400 yen (2022.4) I would like to continue to maintain this nostalgic space that reminds me of the distant Showa era.
