As the name suggests, this cafe is built on a hill that climbs a slope. The approach that leads from the parking lot to the cafe, the chimney of the wood-burning stove that stretches to the sky, the first impression is that it looks like something out of Ghibli. A well-trained dog greets you when you open the door. Without barking, it seems as if they are guiding you to "Please come this way". From the counter seats, you can see the nature of Nishidamachi. You can feel the owner's commitment to the coffee you have while enjoying the leisurely flow of time. I had a very luxurious time. Please keep your smartphone in silent mode. Well worth it.

I happened to have a soba lunch, but it seems that lunch is a reservation system, so I was lucky. Starting with soba noodles that are easy to swallow, the small bowls of summer vegetables were colorful and delicious. Of course, the coffee was also very fragrant and had a relaxing taste. The sky, flowers, birds, and wind that you can see from the top of the hill... it's a great place to take a break while feeling the changing seasons. There are information boards at each crossroads from the city road, but they are small, hand-made signs, so don't miss them. Ramen Kiyuda is also nearby.
