Eniwa, Hokkaido, Japan｜Jazz Cafe Tossy

Lovely welcoming husband & wife owners, in a homely atmosphere. Residential area. Closed Wednesday and Sunday. Open till 4pm. Thursday to Saturday Jazz, rest of time Karaoke. I went Monday, couple of locals crooning out a few Japanese tunes. I just sat there, drank Guatemalan drip coffee (choice was that or Mocha, which might be Yemeni, not sure) and chewed the fat with Toshiyuke Tabata, the owner. Wearing a Callaway shirt, I asked if he was a golfer. Says he shoots in the low 80s..pretty good! Anyway, glad I persevered and found the entrance, no thanks to Google Maps which took me to the wrong side of building, and with the amount of winter Hokkaido snow, I thought I was just outside a snowed under house. It was the other side. I guess Google got me there more or less, so grateful for that.

A stylish and relaxing cafe located in a quiet residential area near Megumino Central Park ☕ Lunch is a good value and includes high-quality and delicious sweets and coffee. You can relax and enjoy your meal while listening to jazz at the wooden table. This is a stylish, homely and calming shop.

It was a lot of fun. It was also nice to be able to choose the spiciness of the curry 🍛 Thank you again 😊 (Added on June 23, 2023) Today, I had chicken soup curry. It was delicious with lots of ingredients♪ (Reservations for soup curry must be made the day before☺️)
