It was cold and freezing in Hokkaido. So stopping at the cafe instead of shopping is the best option. We ordered black coffee and a cake with strawberry jam and cream. The cake was soft and fluffy. Japan has very nice taste of cakes, croissants, and bread. I guess it is the shortening/cheese/butter that they use. It has a nice after-taste effect, and not bitter or oily. We ordered some croissants as well and ate it as-is. As we sipped our hot coffee, we enjoyed the cool air and watched people passing by. Ishiya Cafe is located just outside the exit of the train station at Odori. The coffee and dessert cost me Yen 1,610.

I went on the day of the opening game at Esconfield. It was a view that was always visible during the morning weather forecast. I received a soft serve ice cream mix. I think I'll get something that isn't a mix next time. The pasta looked delicious, so I would like to go there again.
