Lovely family run place. The lady's father was a sumo wrestler! The hot pot soup with duck (chanko), white cabbage, mushrooms, carrot, union and soya flavour is abolutely delicious! The hot pot took maybe short half an hour to arrive at our table, very reasonable preparation/waiting time for such well prepared dish. The owner warned us about it when we came in, but the waiting wasn't bad at all. Normally I am not a fan of duck, but here... yummy!! The kind of place you can still walk in after a sumo tournament game without reservation. We ended up spending Y8200 with two people including food (big portion for two), 2 beers and 2 (actually really nice) glasses of white wine. Very close to Ryogoku Station and short walk from Tokyo's sumo stadium. No English menu or staff, but Google Translate made it easy to understand each other. What a hidden gem!! 1 table Japanese style and about 8x in Western style. Open kitchen.
