I was recommended by my Airbnb landlord to visit this restaurant. We don’t speak Japanese and the owner come out 5 time to explain to us and check how we are doing. Food was good and by the time we finished our meal, it was raining outside. The owner gave us two umbrellas and knowing we are tourists and might not have time to return, the owner said the two umbrellas are gifts for us. Thanks and highly recommended

I made a reservation and visited this restaurant on a weekend night when I wanted to eat authentic Chanko nabe. There seemed to be table seats and a tatami room in the back of the store, but it seemed to be fully booked on that day. The menu had an izakaya-like lineup of chanko nabe, yakitori, sashimi, a la carte dishes, and rice dishes, and the prices were relatively reasonable. There were also quite a few types of alcohol. There were several types of chanko nabe, but this time I chose the special chicken chanko. The light soup was flavored with yuzu and was refreshing and delicious. There were a lot of ingredients, the chicken and meatballs were large and voluminous, and there was no bitterness at all and it was very delicious. As time went on, the chicken stock started to come out and the flavor soaked in, and it became more and more delicious.It was so delicious that I ended up drinking most of the soup with the udon noodles. I like ginkgo, so it was nice that it had ginkgo in it. The photo uploaded is for 2 people. The sweet tamagoyaki and yakitori that I ordered were also big and soft, and overall delicious. I ate all this and ordered alcohol, and at just under 3,000 yen per person, it was a very reasonable price and I was very satisfied. They were kind enough to tell me the location when I made a reservation over the phone, and everyone at the store was very pleasant and made me feel at home. At first glance, the store looks difficult to enter, but even on my first visit, I was able to eat there without any hesitation.

This is my first time visiting you! The staff who served the food and brought it to us were also great! It was my first time trying chanko nabe, and it was very good and filling♪ I would like to go to this restaurant again. The chanko nabe in the photo is for one person.
