The Kyogamo Tempura lunch (¥1,400) here is extremely reasonably priced for the attention to detail. Even the breaded fish was wrapped in a shiso leaf. Kyogamo is duck raised in Kyoto Prefecture, not something you can easily find outside the region. The duck tempura was a tad oily but the duck was still tender and flavourful. Leave some rice for braised duck (¥700) and use that as the topping for your rice. Credit cards accepted. View of the Kamo River (duck river) from the innermost table.

We had the duck pizza, fried taro and shabu shabu. Very delicious the flavors all complemented and did not overwhelm the pallet. Very happy to come to this place. Servers were friendly and efficient.
