Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Hakata Motsunabe Yamaya Nagoya Sakae

I had the ``Motsunabe set meal'' for lunch for 2,200 yen. Mentaiko and mustard greens are not too spicy and easy to eat. What’s more, it’s nice to have free refills! ! I was tempted to ask for a second helping of rice out of greed, but I decided against it. It was that delicious. The dashi soup was delicious and the ochazuke was really great. The motsu nabe had a light taste, and the ``offal'' was plump and delicious!

I went there for Sunday lunch for the first time in years. I thought it was being held during the coronavirus pandemic, but there was still a line even though it was in the basement of a quiet building. Even at 12 o'clock, I was able to get in in about 10 minutes. I think I had a offal hotpot lunch at the Hakata store, and I ate atka mackerel last time in Nagoya. This time, I had a set meal of true hokke, and my wife had a fried chicken mentai flavored set meal. Both are still delicious. Full of volume. Free refills of mentaiko, mustard greens, rice, and soup. It's delicious, but since I'm limiting the amount of salt, it tasted a bit salty lol. By the time I left, the line was long.

Lunch visit in February 2022. Since my last visit, the way they order mentaiko has changed, so I've stopped going there, but when I visited for the first time in a while, I was back to the same ordering method as before! I was told that I could get a large refill of mentaiko, so it was even better than before (^^) Even when I get a refill, the staff's response is very pleasant, so I would like to come back again in the future! Therefore, I changed the ☆ to 5 (^^) Visited in July 2021. Lunch is just over 1,000 yen and comes with free refills of mentaiko, mustard mustard greens, and rice. It's a little expensive for lunch, but it's very attractive (^^) It seems like it's always crowded. I went there for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic started, and previously they had mentaiko and mustard greens on the table so it was easy to eat, but now they have to order refills to prevent infection. The amount of mentaiko and mustard greens that come out at a time is small, and I feel sorry for having to ask for refills over and over again, so I ended up only being able to order one response at a time... As someone like me who always eats a lot, that was a little disappointing ^^;
