Hiroshima, Japan｜Henkutsuya Heiwakinenkoen minami

We came here for dinner one evening to get okonomiyaki. We were lucky in that we managed to arrive a little early when the restaurant was mostly empty. We tried three different okonomiyaki, all of which were really good. Even looking at the pictures now makes me want to go back for more. It’s definitely worth a visit.

We went to this restaurant out of convenience (close to the hotel) and we're delighted. They did have English speaking staff and descriptions and everyone was very nice too. The food was made right in front of us on the hot plate and it was very delicious and filling.

Absolutely delicious food that you get to watch being put together in front of you, it's like a show. I had the okonomiyaki (Hiroshima style) and it was easily one of the best meals I had during my weeks in Japan. Brilliant service and vibe too, I cannot recommend it more highly.
