2023.6.3 Today I went to Shobara, aiming for La Foret Shobara (formerly Kanpo no Yado) for my usual weekend hot spring bath. Since I left a little late, I decided to grab some lunch before taking a bath and explore the shops. When I tried to go to a Viet Cong ramen shop, I canceled because it was from Dongcheng. Now, where should I go? That's right❗ We decided to try some Shobara yaki, so we went to this restaurant that was featured on the Kenmin show. There are parking lots on both sides of the store, but neither is the store's parking lot. Please note that there is a large parking lot across the road. There were no customers, so I quickly entered the store. It was a lucky time today as there were only 3 tables available. I was really lucky because the owner said, ``You were really busy last Saturday, so I wonder what happened today?'' On my first visit, I didn't really understand it and after asking around, I ordered the normal Shobara-yaki. The definition of Shobara ware heard here. ① Shobara rice is used instead of noodles. (This is pork kimchi fried rice) ②Use ponzu sauce instead of okonomiyaki sauce. (This one was thickened with our own ponzu sauce.) Another thing that this shop is particular about is that the cabbages and green onions are also grown in Shonan. (The green onions on this day were Hibagon green onions.) From the beginning of baking, I was able to see it carefully... The amount of cabbage is quite large. It's only natural that it takes a long time to bake because you use so much. And pork kimchi fried rice also appeared. It's real pork kimchi fried rice, and I think it's good to have it on the menu. Finally, the grilled food is brought out, and a large amount of green onions are thrown in front of you. Now, 660 yen is too good for the cost performance. First, we poured ponzu sauce on it, then added mustard mayonnaise, spicy miso, etc. to enjoy different flavors. This is a repeat product. Next time, I think I'll try adding cheese topping if it tastes like this. The restaurant was full before we finished eating. Some customers were now waiting in the parking lot. It was truly a lucky time.
