Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Monja Kiyoshi Shitoro

This is a Monjayaki/Okonomiyaki restaurant. Monjayaki is a style that you make yourself on a teppanyaki iron plate, and since the instructions on how to make it were written on the menu and the steps were not difficult, I was able to make it even for the first time. There was a variety of menu items, but there was a set for first-timers, and I was satisfied with the variety I could eat. I would like to go again if I have a chance.

This was my first visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and I was able to enjoy my meal slowly. The staff at the restaurant would make the monja just for me, so I felt at ease even though I was not used to it. The chewy taste was outstanding! I think I'll visit you again! This is a standard okonomiyaki restaurant. It is delicious. The atmosphere of the shop is old-fashioned. Since they bake their own food, the inside of the restaurant can get quite smoky when it's crowded. We recommend wearing clothes that can be washed, as the smell will stick to them.
