Hiroshima, Japan｜Yoshidaya

Relocated and opened on September 22, 2023. The new location is a hideaway shop in the back of Coffee House Shiromon. I think the space is a little smaller than before. The taste and service remain the same! The classic Hiroshima okonomiyaki! It's very filling, but it's not heavy because there's plenty of cabbage, so you can eat it in one piece. My favorite is the jalapeno topping. You might think it's extremely spicy, but since it's pickled in vinegar, the spiciness is mild and it's just the right accent. (It seems to be quite popular in Hiroshima.) There are many other menu items besides okonomiyaki. In particular, you can enjoy dishes that change daily using ingredients from the San'in region of China. It's perfect as a snack while waiting for your okonomiyaki to cook. Teppan magic is formidable and will enhance the taste many times over.

2023.11.3 Apparently the store has moved, so I had a friend bring me there❗ You enter next to Honda on Airport Street, but I think it's a difficult place to find if you're not used to the street (lol)⁉️However, it seems like you can't get in unless you make a reservation! ️It was full (lol) Well, the previous store was also full, so I think it's a very popular store. The okonomiyaki uses raw noodles and has a taste that I like! ️ It's a restaurant with an iron plate, but they also serve sashimi, so next time I think I'll order the sashimi platter. If you're thinking about going, it's best to call first to check if there are any seats available! ️ previous post I ate okonomiyaki (special)❗ The way they make okonomiyaki seemed to be different from other restaurants❗It was delicious. The noodles and ingredients weren't soggy and I liked it. The a la carte dishes, stewed beef tendon, and Gansu were perfect as snacks for sake❗ I was taken there by a regular customer who often goes there.

Whenever I come to Hiroshima, I always come to Yoshidaya. Whatever I eat is delicious, but I often eat the today's specials written on the blackboard. Finish with okonomiyaki or yoshidaya rolls.
