A great local place for authentic, humble hiroshima okonomiyaki. The food was of course delicious, and the owners were very hospitable to us even with our poor Japanese language skills. We enjoyed eating our okonomiyaki with a beer, while watching the baseball with other local patrons.

This is the most delicious okonomiyaki restaurant in Hiroshima Prefecture. Most of the customers are regulars, and many of the regular customers are particularly kind, and the staff at the store are also nice to customers, even if they are just seeing them for the first time. There are various okonomiyaki menus, but let's start with Please try the classic "Meatama Soba". The noodles are chewy and the cabbage is finely shredded, but it still has a certain presence and is not soggy. There is carp sauce on the table, but it's well seasoned, so I think it's a good idea to try the sauce first. The size is the size of a typical okonomiyaki, so even women can easily eat it. If you can eat a lot, you can also have double noodles or double vegetables, so we recommend that. However, if you have the stomach to spare, Please try another one-dish menu. Even though it's an okonomiyaki restaurant, the sashimi was very delicious. I don't have any photos so I wonder how much it is? I thought, but it was about 1.5 times the amount I expected. In addition to sashimi, there were a variety of other dishes, all of which were delicious. It seems like they only serve fresh products, but they don't stock a lot of them, so they often run out of stock, so please be aware of that before ordering.

The customer base seems to be mostly regulars, and it feels like a local shop. That doesn't mean that the customer service is appropriate, but even those of us who came to the store for the first time were politely served. Traditional Hiroshima okonomiyaki, but the noodles were unique. Next time I visit, I will try to ask for one item. The owner was a former chef and once aimed to become a Japanese restaurant, so I expect to be able to eat special fish.
