When I made a surprise visit, I was told that it would take an hour to prepare the eel from cutting to cooking, so I killed the time at a nearby footbath. The eel was fluffy and the rice, pickles, and liver soup were really delicious. The proprietress has a great personality and I would definitely visit again when I travel again.
