Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima, Japan｜釜めし山葵

The food was delicious, you can taste the care that went into making it with fresh ingredients. Came here with my wife and we loved the atmosphere too. Will come again!

I had it for takeout for lunch. In addition to kamameshi, there were lots of tempura, miso dengaku, chawanmushi, and dessert♪ The kamameshi was hot, burnt, and delicious.

Aizu Kamai wasabi. Asakaya main store. A kamameshi restaurant with a half bell. Apparently it was newly cast when the building was rebuilt. It seems that the previous half-bell was a little bigger, but I think it matches the atmosphere of the store and the streetscape.
