Sukagawa, Fukushima, Japan｜天祥 かぶら（てんしょう かぶら）

Came in for dinner on a holiday in November. During my trip, I stayed one night in Sukagawa, so I went out to have dinner, but many of the restaurants were closed, so as I was walking around searching for a restaurant, I came across this restaurant that looked like it had a nice atmosphere. I didn't have a reservation, but when I asked, they said it was OK, so I went in. There is a counter where you can drink alone, and we had a tempura platter, rice set, sake, and additionally the highly recommended turnip meat and potatoes. Kabura Nikujaga is an unusual meat and potato that doesn't look like meat and potatoes at all, but as you eat it and it loses its shape, you realize that it is indeed meat and potatoes. Interesting meat and potatoes that look great in photos. It was quite filling, so I was quite full with the tempura. The store seemed busy with fewer employees, perhaps due to fewer customers due to the coronavirus, but the customer service was polite and gave a good impression.

"It's delicious." It leaks every time. Ever since I encountered this restaurant's simmered food, I've loved it! (*Things may vary depending on taste) When I ate it for the first time, I was asked to add sansho (Japanese pepper) to your taste, and I thought, ``?'' in my head. But after one bite, I was convinced! The rich flavor makes you feel like you're eating kabayaki eel. The combination of sweetness and fish fat will give you a punch! There's no way the meal won't go well. When I was in my twenties, I would use the leftover broth to make another bowl of rice. Suddenly I had a strong desire to eat, Every time I finish eating, I end up saying, ``This is delicious.'' Depending on the stock, sometimes it's filleted and sometimes it's rough, but personally I like it filleted! Both chawanmushi and sashimi have different contents depending on the season, so you can enjoy them. It was delicious today too♪

The shopkeeper? responded very politely. The main seating area is on the second floor, but there is an elevator within the building, so barrier-free access is no problem. There are also children's chairs, so you can bring your infants with you. I ordered tempura and it was delicious without being too oily.
