The food, including the sushi I ate, and the side menu in general are delicious, so I don't think there are many deviations. In particular, Mexicali's fried jade and fried squid rings have been delicious for a long time. There are also non-sushi menus such as eel over rice, sukiyaki, and fried set meals, so even those who are not in the mood for sushi should be fine.

I ate the exquisite fried Noto Mekotsu Hisui. Crispy clothes, fluffy white meat, good texture and very delicious.
