Probably the best Tonkatsu i ever had. I knew from the beginning i have to try this plce, but when i arrived, the queue was long!! All the way to the emergency stair. But it didnt take long. So dont let the queue scare you! No english menu was given, so i have to google translate it. Decided to go with the first picture in the menu book LOL. The taste of the miso is amazing. The pork is so tender and juicy. Oh! You can ask for additional rice! This is a must-eat-food in Nagoya!!!

Had a great ‘Sizzling’ plate of tonkatsu here. It’s not modern by any means but it’s tasty, fun and local. There is always a queue at lunch and you just have to wait. It’s never too long and there are seats available. They come and take your order while you are waiting so by the time you get to your table. The miso red bean style sauce is so different from normal curry katsu and it’s one you will like - tasty with a slight piquant tilt. A definite recommend if you are in the city.
