Nagano, Japan｜BAR 599

During my stay in Nagano I found this bar close to my hotel thanks to Google Maps. Visited on a Sunday night. It was still early and quiet, but I had a great chat with the owner. What a hospitable and nice man to talk to - his English is very good. He has a great knowledge about whiskey, even though I am not a whiskey drinker. Nonetheless, I had a good time here and can recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice bar to chill out.

Stumbled upon this bar while browsing the review. The reviews posted are accurate. The owner is a very knowledgeable about his whiskey , warm, and very friendly. It was nice to be able to talk to him in English, and he makes you feel very comfortable. The interior is very nicely designed and cozy as well, and there’s a wide selection of whiskies. If you’re unsure of what to get, just ask the owner for recommendation, and his choice(s) will not disappoint. Would definitely come back again.

stopped in for a drink before dinner and found a huge selection of Scottish and Japanese whiskies to select from. Kemada was a pleasure to talk to, it was a very enjoyable time. even stopped again after dinner!
