If you're looking for Japanese food in Kabukicho, this is definitely the place to go. They have a wide variety of shochu, as well as good Japanese sake. They also have rice dishes and pasta, but I think this cod roe spaghetti is the best cod roe spaghetti in Shinjuku. Smoking allowed. It's basically a counter, and there are only two tables in the back.

I haven't been to it in the past few years, but it's one of my favorite restaurants in Shinjuku. Both the food and the drinks are delicious. The main alcohol is shochu, with about 100 varieties available. I think I could drink the chicken sashimi and shochu forever lol The atmosphere of the store is also kind of calm and comfortable. It's a counter-centered restaurant, but there are table seats in the back (upper seating for 6.7 people). It's a difficult location to get into, but once you've been there, you'll definitely want to go again.

I usually come here when I go drinking in Kabukicho. The staff are very friendly. The food is really delicious. They also have good whiskeys such as Hakushu, so you can use it for dinner or with women. There are counter seats and table seats, so it can accommodate 2 to 6 people.
