My wife and I stumbled upon this gem in Nikko and had a wonderful time. The owner was very nice and helpful and spoke to us in English. You can taste as many kinds of sake as he has open (about 18 bottles when we were there) for about 2000 yen per 30 minutes. We were there for an hour. It seemed like a great deal and a fun way to try several kinds of local sake. We would highly recommend stopping through!

My first sake tasting experience today and could not fault it. I was guided through everything and it felt so personal with every suggestion I got based on my perceived taste. Great conversation throughout also.
