Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan｜BAR PARK AVENUE(バー パークアベニュー)

I visited the second restaurant on Utsunomiya night! The master is passionate about whiskey and wine, and we enjoyed talking with him as he selected a whiskey for us to drink. The Craigelaki and Kleinlish Bottlers were very delicious. I would definitely like to visit you again when I go to Utsunomiya again.

I had a great time chatting with a very friendly master from beginning to end. I was able to find a whiskey that matched my taste because I was taught in detail by myself as a beginner and recommended various things. I was thinking of buying a bottle for drinking at home, so it was helpful as a decisive factor. Thanks. The hot sandwich, which is said to have many repeat customers, is excellent with perilla leaves. It was really good. Various knobs are also thoughtful and sake progresses. The variety of whiskey was huge, so there will be a convincing dish even for maniacs. I was very satisfied with the comfortable and relaxing space that produced an adult time. We will repeat again!

I visited after a while since before the coronavirus. If you want to drink malt whiskey in Utsunomiya, this is the place. There is a famous restaurant on Orion Street, but if you want to casually drink without putting too much pressure on yourself, this is the best. There were so many domestic craft whiskeys out there all of a sudden that I hadn't tried any of them, so I asked the master for a recommendation and ordered a sherry cask from Sakurao. Yeah, it's insanely delicious. It seems like it's a limited edition product, so I don't think you'll be able to buy it at a liquor store, but I'll probably buy a regular Sakurao at a liquor store next time and give it a try. By the way, I was hungry today, so I ordered a Margherita pizza. It was delicious. I finished it all at once with Glenmorangie's highball. I think I'll be living in Utsunomiya for a while, so I'm going out for drinks.
