Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan｜Onoda Bar

A hidden gem. Onada, the owner, is a fine meticulous bar tender. One of the best martini’s I’ve had!!!! Okayama gin stirred (of-course) with a twist of lemon.

It was my first time in Kurashiki, and my husband and I were looking for a place where we could relax and drink whiskey. As I saw in the reviews, there is a wide variety of whiskey available, and I was able to have a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. We had a wonderful time with both the master and the regulars who had valuable conversations with us. This is a shop I definitely stop by when I visit Kurashiki.

I was walking down the street and happened to come in for the 0th party. I ordered a watermelon cocktail, a lamb tonic, and a dried fruit cream cheese snack. The rum tonic was the best I've ever had. The dried fruit cream cheese was homemade and was also exceptionally delicious. When I checked out, I was surprised at the low prices and found a really good store. From now on, it has become one of my favorite shops to visit when I go to Kurashiki.
