Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan｜アルペジオ

Located at the corner of a quite area, but close to harbour. A cozy bar specilized in smoked food, which is really delicious. The price is reasonable. The night I visited was quite empty, the only other guest was neighbour. The owner speaks few English, but menu tells everything.

It’s a small bar with a very friendly owner. I had a great time chatting with him and other tourists. Even if you don’t speak Japanese, I recommend stopping by! The local beer and smoked meat and cheese on the menu were delicious.

Before I went to Onomichi, I had already prepared the stores I wanted to visit. After riding Shimanami Kaido all day, This is a bar where you can relax comfortably. When I went there that day, there were only two other women in the store. Although I am a foreigner from Taiwan, the boss was still very friendly and chatted with me casually, using Japanese, English and Google Translate. I spent a pleasant evening in this store.
