Our visit to Chin-ya was truely amazing from start to finish, We were seated in a private room which was very spacious. The lady serving us did her best to communicate even with the lack of English. The food was amazing, Sukiyaki was one of the foods I was the most excited about trying and it did not dissapoint! The meat was great and the raw egg was scary at first but I would say it was essential. I'd definently go again.

It is my first time to this Historic restaurant. Everything is so good, especially the beef and sauces.

It was a wonderful sukiyaki restaurant which has a history of more than a century. The waitress was well trained as she served every dishe at proper position to make it look beautiful. Food taste was fantastic and the speed of service was excellent despite they just started their business. Teki Sashi Wagyu Beef from Miyagi Pref or Hookaido, which means the meat has right content of juiciness or it could be said marbled. The beef is not branded like Matsuzaka or Oumi but certified by CHINYA. It is accessible from Asakusa Train Station of Skytreeline. By car it may not be so convenient as there are not so many coin parking lots. Chinya's dinning place is upstairs and there is no elevator. I recommend this place for anyone especially foreginers to enjoy Japanese traditional food. Wishing good luck to the place to sustain the historical sukiyaki tradition.
