More Comments at Google MapExcellent sukiyaki dining experience. I want to specifically thank Miss 籐井 for her effort in explaining the dishes, dining process and of course her exquisite cooking. Well controlled flame, perfect balance of water and soy sauce. It seemed effortless to cook a medium rare pieces of beef, but I understand how easy it could be to mess up a single step. This restaurant is serving Kanto style of sukiyaki. Unlike Kansei style, this uses a little more soy sauce and no sugar would be added during cooking. The restaurant is very generous in offering raw eggs for dipping the pieces of beef and the seasonal vegetables. The restaurant is decorated in traditional Japanese style. Spacious and quiet overall.
This was the highlight meal of my trip to Tokyo this year. Food was delicious, and the service incredible, despite the slight language barrier. We ordered Sukiyaki, shabu shabu set courses and a bottle of chianti. The quality of the food was beyond my expectations, with delicate and well balanced flavors. Our hostess was so patient with my poor understanding of Japanese and managed to communicate with me well with some English to describe every course and expectations. Dining in Japan can be cold and tough, most places would turn me away because of my lack of fluency but this place was warm and welcoming. I took a chance as a walk in and was surprised they took me in. My hostess never once winced at my poor pronunciation or any attempt to describe an item and dining was not at all awkward or stuffy. I would definitely return to dine again. Highly recommended for good quality food and classy, impeccable service.
Very good ambience and nice Wagyu beef. Was well marbled and the price is reasonable. Enjoyed the whole course. You don’t need to go for the most premium, the photos shown is the high quality set and it is really good enough unless you really want the super super marbled one which we did not get. Loved it and would definitely go again
