Nice local sushi restaurant, very good value and nice ambiance, the sushi chef is easy to talk to even if you're a foreigner. Excellent stop on your way back to Tokyo from a Gunna onsen trip.

It is a familiar shop from long ago. It's been a delicious sushi restaurant since the previous general. Now my son has taken over, but he also offers new creative sushi, which is a perfect reward for sushi 🍣❣ My personal favorite is the trotaku roll! On this day (October 3, 2021), he recommended the autumn taste of saury, so he offered me a fatty and firm saury❢. Both the owner and the proprietress are familiar to me since I was little, so it was great to eat sushi while chatting on the table. Actually, it was the first time in my life to eat at the stand. However, the customer service made me feel at home, and I was able to enjoy my meal without feeling nervous at all! It was non-alcoholic because we had to drive, but sake drinkers will probably want sake. Next time, I'd like to get a hotel nearby and have it while drinking ❣
