Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan｜Edoichi Sushi

This sushi restaurant is tucked away in a back alley and has been in business for over 40 years. Prices are relatively reasonable for a sushi restaurant, and there are set menus in addition to sushi. This time, I ordered the "Chirashi Gozen" and an additional "Fried Horse Mackerel" item. The set contents are outstanding, and the set comes with a salad, a small side dish, three types of tempura, and even coffee jelly. There are about 10 kinds of toppings in the seafood bowl, and each piece is thick and impressive, and unlike today's more visually appealing bowls, it brings back the forgotten deliciousness of the past. The fried horse mackerel is also perfect, as is the tempura. This is a restaurant I would definitely like to visit again next time for nigiri sushi. I feel completely satisfied.

I ordered the tekka bowl and Saturday lunch set, but I was surprised at the quality above the price! You can eat a thick tuna for 2,000 yen!! ︎ I forgot to take a picture of the tekka bowl, but it was very delicious
