Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Sushi Ichiban

November 2023 I bought the bamboo nigiri and sea chicken rolls that I always buy here. It's so delicious that you'll find it foolish to compromise by buying cheap food at the supermarket. The ingredients are solid and it's a great value. It's nice to be able to choose individual items according to your preference, but I ended up buying bamboo nigiri because it has a relatively large selection of my personal favorites. 2021 After searching around for a while, I came across this restaurant as the one closest to the local souvenir sushi chain restaurants that existed around Hamamatsu about 30 years ago. It's true that the price is high, but because the ingredients are solid, the taste is incomparable to supermarket or mawari sushi.

This is a take-out sushi restaurant. I went in as I was passing by, and the seafood bowl and conger eel bowl were very delicious. I forgot to take a photo. Please try the real thing!

The store clerk is also very nice. I sometimes buy sushi and it's delicious. You can rest assured that if you tell them the reservation time, they will make it and leave it for you. You can hold it even if you say it on the spot. It will take some time 😁 I have a stamp card, so if it's full I'll probably get a discount 🙂
