I visited with my brother on the 23rd anniversary of my father's death. It's a neighboring town and relatively close by, but I had been reluctant to go there and had missed it. I used it for Saturday lunch, but basically I was not allowed to make reservations a few days in advance unless it was a course reservation. (It is explained that lunch reservations will be accepted the day before) We made a reservation for the 4,000 yen/person course, and on the day we arrived, the restaurant was almost full as soon as it opened, and everyone had made lunch reservations. We had our meal in a private room next to the entrance that could accommodate about 8 people. Needless to say, the food was very delicious. (As expected, the horse mackerel is plump and chewy.) Weekdays are unknown, but reservations are required on Saturdays and Sundays. It is true that even if you suddenly come to the store, you will not be able to enter, and once you are seated, it will take almost until closing time, Some people may be offended if you don't walk up and take a seat. In any case, it was a store that I would like to come back to again.

The owner is unpretentious, bright and energetic, not too demanding, and serves delicious food. The reason there are more locals than tourists is because the cost performance is good. You can be 100% satisfied with the Suruga Bay nigiri tightening.
