The other reviews are true. The sashimi is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly but don't understand much English. However they do have English menu. Recommend installing translation app on your phone and Google Lens before visiting.

Fantastic sushi that rivals what you can get in better sushi restaurants in Tokyo. The sushi chef had a long career in Tokyo before moving to Atami. The location is very convenient across from Atami Station. Fish quality & selection is excellent and they have great lunch specials. I live in Atami and this is my favorite sushi restaurant.

I always stop by when I go to Atami. I feel like the number of customers has increased compared to before, making it harder to get in. This is proof of its popularity. I found out about this restaurant because my mother loves sushi, but she was limited in the types of toppings she could eat, so she was looking online for a sushi restaurant that served sea urchin and salmon roe in nigiri, and this restaurant came up. .
