Good taste and professional chef! ^^ the foods are wonderful !

This was my first visit to Shirahama Sushi, which my mother often bought me as souvenirs. I came here once before, but there was a notice saying it was closed, so I was disappointed (T_T) It says Monday is a holiday, but if it falls on a public holiday, the day off may change, or there may be sudden closures, so if you are traveling from far away, it is best to check in advance. I arrived at the parking lot about 15 minutes before the store opened, so I still had time so I took a walk around the shopping street. It's a small shopping street with a nostalgic atmosphere of Suma-dera Temple that you can walk from one end to the other in about 10 minutes. I went to the store 2-3 minutes before it opened, and there were two old ladies sitting on the bench in front of the store chatting, so I asked if it was open. When I asked about it, I was told that the seats were already full and people were writing their names in notebooks and waiting. Surprised and in a hurry, we also registered our names. The inside of the store is clean and has a nice retro atmosphere, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. You may have to wait a bit, but the carefully made sushi rolls and boxed sushi are exquisite. The seaweed in the sushi rolls is jet black and shiny, and we use good quality seaweed. The toppings are a thinly baked egg wrapped around conger eel, shiitake mushrooms, and shrimp, and although there is plenty of it, the flavor is neither too strong nor too thin, and it is a perfect balance with the sushi rice, giving it an elegant and delicious taste. The conger eel sushi also had a strong seasoning, but when eaten with Japanese pepper, it was just right and delicious. I hate that there is conger eel in the red soup stock, but I'm glad that it comes as a surprise. While we were eating, customers were coming in one after another for takeout, so you can see that it is loved by the locals. In Hyogo Prefecture, the sushi rolls called 〇Istar Kobo〇〇〇 are very famous, but the flavor was too strong and they insisted on a lot of toppings, and even though they didn't even have conger eel in it, it seemed expensive, so it didn't suit me. Although it's a little pricey, this sushi roll is by far the best sushi roll for me. I was happy that I was able to get a great deal with the city coupons. When I usually go to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, I feel like the hurdles are high, but it's worth the price. My husband and I have been talking about wanting to come again.

When I go to Sumadera shopping street, I end up coming here. Take out sushi from "Shirama Sushi". Okara sushi is famous, but I like this sushi roll. Sweet shiitake mushrooms, juicy shrimp, and lightly fried yet fluffy eggs. It's been a while since I've eaten it, but it's still delicious. The conger eel sushi is also very soft. Suma-dera Temple is a nice place.
