Ogaki, Gifu, Japan｜Sushi Kappo Daisen

A traditional sushi restaurant located in a residential area in Arao-cho, Ogaki City. There are about 10 seats at the counter only, and this time we used it for lunch on weekdays, and although the reviews said it was full, there were only two customers. The dishes are sushi lunch (1,650 yen), sashimi (tuna, sea bream, etc.), tempura, chirashi sushi, miso soup hotpot (udon), and nigiri sushi (4 pieces and hosomaki). The portion was perfect, the taste was satisfying, and the chef was cheerful and I enjoyed the meal. I was able to use paypay.

It's a small shop with just a counter. The elderly general manager is managing the business alone. Sushi lunch is 1500 yen. Even though it was a weekday, the restaurant was fully booked with reservations, and people who came without reservations were turned away. The owner is a cheerful person and the sashimi is fresh. This time's sashimi has puffer fish! Everything was delicious, but the nigiri conger eel and grilled salmon were especially delicious. The wasabi and chili pepper had a nice flavor.

Honestly, it's a famous local restaurant that I don't want to tell anyone about. The dishes are all made with the owner's desire to provide customers with delicious food at reasonable prices.
