Ogaki, Gifu, Japan｜Hatsuzushi Sunomata

I ate A lunch and conger eel. Lunch comes with 6 pieces + rolls, 2 small bowls, udon, chawanmushi and dessert. Chawanmushi brings you hot. Conger eel is very delicious. It is recommended to eat as a set + single item.

You can enjoy fresh and delicious sushi. I've been here a few times for lunch and once or twice in the evening, but this time I decided to order something from the current price menu that didn't have prices written on it, so I ordered the bonito tataki. Although I wasn't sitting at the counter, I was able to see the inside of the restaurant, so I could see the bonito being grilled. I was asked if I wanted the garlic grated or sliced, and when I chose grated, it was served after a while. It was topped with grated garlic, green onions, and perilla leaves, and served with ponzu sauce containing grated maple leaves. There was almost no fishy smell, and it was quite filling, but it disappeared in no time. The price was also cheaper than I expected, probably around 1500 yen... Since I went there by car, I wasn't able to drink anything, so next time I'll try something that would go well with alcohol.

I had lunch. The ingredients were thick, all fresh and very delicious. The owner couple are also nice people and we had a fun meal. Next time I would like to visit at night. Thank you for the meal.
