Joetsu, Niigata, Japan｜Sushi Robata Kichijotei

Incredible food and very kind service! The owners speak very little English, but this added much to the experience. The chef is truly a sushi master, serving only fresh and clean fish with excellent recommendations for both food and beverage. Both he and the hostess were incredibly friendly to us (Americans). I highly recommend this place to everyone!!

A unique experience, only few sitting places inside and no English menu, however the place feels 100% authentic and selection of dishes is huge. They accept both cards and cash, I would taking a Japanese friend with you however I went in alone and other patrons were more than happy to help me out.
