It is a very delicious Chinese restaurant. I visited for dinner, but I felt that each item was sophisticated and wonderful. If you go thinking that it is a so-called "town Chinese", it may feel different from the image. The photo shows shrimp mayonnaise, but the most recommended item at this restaurant is the “Kakuni sweet and sour pork”. It is a gem that you cannot find at other Chinese restaurants, so please try it when you visit.

Recently, I have been visiting Bistro China Isoya, which opened in July 2022, for lunch and dinner. In fact, Isoya-san was started by the owner and his wife, who had been the head chef for many years at Hanaya, a well-known restaurant in Kita Ward that recently closed down. It seems that a lot of regulars from the old Hakaya era, who heard about the restaurant soon after it opened, as well as local wives and uncles with discerning tastes, are visiting. The photo shows today's daily lunch special: sweet and sour pork, shrimp chili, and perilla soup dumplings. All of the dishes had an elegant taste that set them apart from the local Chinese food, and were truly "modern Chinese food." I don't have a photo, but the red tandan noodles were also delicious. The tableware and presentation are stylish, and it's a great restaurant where you can enjoy the same level of food as the Chinese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel at Okunan prices (in other words, cheap). This is the kind of restaurant you would want to visit at night with your loved ones and enjoy a variety of dishes while relaxing with drinks. Highly recommended! However, since the restaurant is small (13 seats), it is best to make a reservation for both day and night.

On the first day of Obon, after completing my duties, I went to Wakaba Town's ``Bistro China Isoya'' for lunch, a new store that opened last month. There are 5 parking spaces located next to the store and facing the store! The restaurant has a square space, small but efficient table arrangement, and 3 counter seats. Make a reservation on the day and enter the store at opening time. The menu is extensive, and in addition to various Chinese set meals, there is also a lineup of noodles and curry. There are three types of Dandan noodles: white, black, and red! ! I ordered red tandan noodles (850 yen) + lunch set (+ 200 yen), and it arrived after a little over 10 minutes of waiting. You can add dim sum, salad, black vinegar drink, dessert, and rice to the lunch set for free (large portions are also available) ^^ Red Dandan noodles, the soup is dark red ^^; It has an authentic taste of chili pepper and Japanese pepper, but strangely it's not too spicy and the soup is well-balanced. The noodles are medium-thin and straight, and have a chewy texture due to the high water content. The minced meat is dark and has a hard texture, giving the impression that it has been stir-fried vigorously and has a deep flavor. The other ingredients will be thigh sprouts. The Zha cai served in a bottle and the accompanying shrimp chili have a somewhat nostalgic taste. .. .. When I was paying, I asked the owner, and he told me that he was from a Chinese family that had closed down, and I was impressed with his skillful workmanship and Nouvelle Chinois style quality (*^^*)
