More Comments at Google Map“Personally, I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in Hachioji.”2023/11/9 I used it on Thursday afternoon. This is my second time using it after 2 and a half years. It's past 1pm, but customers keep coming in. It's a popular store. “Stir-fried pork and vegetables with oyster sauce”: 960 yen (tax included, same below), 3.8 food points/3.8 CP points I like it because it has just the right amount of salted plum flavor with the oyster sauce. As for vegetables, bok choy, lotus root, shimeji mushrooms, young corn, pumpkin, and carrots were confirmed. The rice is served in a rather small bowl, but it's a large serving and you can get refills. It's delicious anyway! Personally, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Hachioji that I have visited. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- "This was delicious, authentic mapo" 2021/5/9 I used it on a Sunday afternoon. It was already almost 2pm, but there were 12 customers in 5 groups. Even though it's located on a back street, it's quite popular. "Mabo tofu lunch": 820 yen (tax included, same below) Taste 3.9 points / CP 3.8 points Of the five types available for the lunch menu, the one listed first and the least expensive is ``Mabo tofu''. When ordering, I was asked how spicy it was, but I was told that even normal spiciness was quite spicy, so I chose "normal". The Mapo Tofu took a while to be served, but it had a nice aroma of Japanese pepper. When I tried the mapo, it wasn't terribly spicy, but it had a strong flavor that numbed my tongue. It's true that even the "normal" spiciness is quite numbing. I think it could have been a little more spicy, but it was delicious. It's full of ground meat and tofu, and I like that the tofu isn't watery. It probably has a lot of salt because it's mapo. The rice was a little hard. Mini salad, egg and wakame soup, shibazuke, almond tofu, and hot coffee are all included for 820 yen. I think there are many Chinese restaurants in town that are a little cheaper, but with this quality, I have no complaints. The dessert, almond tofu, was quite delicious. The almond tofu had a rich flavor, rather than the soft desserts that are common in Chinese restaurants. I think this is also excellent.
I was curious so I visited on my way home from the gym. I had mapo tofu for lunch. The store is also clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. There are table seats, counter seats, and tatami rooms. The beer is also cold and delicious. I thought I'd like to come for a drink at night too! The taste is also perfect. It has a luxurious and delicate taste. I am satisfied with the best cost performance. There was free refills of rice and free coffee.
I used it for lunch on my first visit. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal, which is probably the most recommended, and I was very satisfied with the not-soggy tofu and the authentic seasoning. The mini dessert, almond tofu, was also chewy, and at 860 yen including these, it was a very good value for money. I will be using this again.
