Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan｜Jing Hua Xiao Chi Jinghua Hachioji

One of the best lunch spots in Hachioji, hands down. Since moving to Japan I've become somewhat of a shoronpo aficionado, and the delicious little soup dumplings here are the best I've had, eclipsing even the famed Din Tai Fung. They're very delicate and extra juicy though, so be careful. I recommend the mix shoronpo set, which comes with a variety of dumplings and a very generous bowl of noodle soup (tantanmen is my favorite, but they're all excellent). Once you eat here you will crave it and need to return.

Large variety on the menu, wonderful chef - and do not, under any circumstances, miss the soup dumplings! They are phenomenal!

If the weather is good you can eat on the terrace. I really liked the sweet & sour pork, the meat was really tender.
