More Comments at Google MapI've always wanted to go to a restaurant that was featured in Kodoku no Gourmet at least once. I had to go to a relative's house for the first time in four years after the corona subsided, so I decided to go to this nearby shop. The inside is not very large, but it doesn't feel cramped because of the good layout. I was happy to be greeted as soon as I entered! (Only the owner and two women who help) The food was also very delicious. Almond tofu is rich and delicious! I think it was worth going from Niigata. I needed a reservation, but I was finally able to connect after the 18th time. I want to go again.
Everything I eat at this restaurant is delicious, and I think the quality of the food is exceptional. In particular, the Tenshinhan is completely different from the ones available at other restaurants. The eel kabayaki fried rice and the rich milk pudding-like almond tofu that were introduced in Kodoku no Gourmet are also very delicious. From the outside, it looks like a small town Chinese restaurant, but inside, the blue tablecloths are casual and classy, and I like the smell of Turandot. It's a very nice store with friendly staff. Reservations are required, as you won't be able to get in even if you just show up.
First visit by making a reservation at 12:30 on a weekday. Due to the limited number of seats, you may not be able to enter without a reservation. If you are interested in Solitary Gourmet, you should make a reservation. I ordered ``spicy stir-fried oysters and chives'', ``carpo'', ``broiled eel fried rice'', and ``soup of the day''. Spicy stir-fried oysters and chives are delicious on their own, or sandwiched between fluffy bread called waribao. As Mr. Goro said on TV, the sauce is so delicious that you can't leave it behind. The eel kabayaki fried rice was small with just a few pieces of eel, but with plenty of green onions and Japanese pepper sauce, it was a new kind of fried rice. I took out ``steamed chicken with spicy sauce'' and ``yakisoba with crab sauce''. If you let them know in advance, they will take it out as soon as you leave the store. At the end, the store manager came out to greet me politely. It's not an easy distance to go to, but I'm really glad I was able to go once. Thank you for the meal.
