I feel pretty lucky to have this place close to home. The yakishoronpo are excellent, the ramen is great and the owners are attentive and friendly. There are a few Chinese restaurants around shakujiikoen, but this is the one we keep coming back to again and again.

Dim Sum, Soy Sauce Fried Rice, Noodles Everything is delicious.

Kouyuuka is an exquisite Shanghainese restaurant located in front of Shakujii Koen Station in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. Chef Karyo, who worked at Jiang Hotel Shanghai, a historic luxury hotel representing Shanghai that has welcomed VIPs from all over the world, moved to Tokyo's Shakujii Park Station in front of Shakujii Park Station in 2013. This is a Shanghai restaurant that opened on October 9th. The Shanghai cuisine prepared by top chefs is delicious no matter what you eat, including appetizers, dim sum, stir-fried dishes, noodles, and rice dishes! The medicinal hot pot course is also popular at banquets! This is a shop where you can spend an elegant time with a focus on tea. The name Komataka reflects Chef Natsura's desire to make you fall in love with Shanghai cuisine, as the restaurant is filled with the scent of Shanghai cuisine and tea. There are about 50 tables in total, but it gets full during peak hours. It's a popular restaurant, so it's best to make a reservation by phone in advance. Eating Chinese food makes me want to drink beer, but I recommend drinking Komataka's flower tea, even after your meal. Of course, there are standard teas such as oolong tea, jasmine tea, Pu'er tea, and Longjin tea, but we recommend flower tea. When I asked the staff, ``Do you have any tea with flowers in it?'', they told me about the six types of flower tea (600 yen). If you're with someone who doesn't drink, I think it's best to order first (because you get free refills). They also sell a wide variety of teas for souvenirs, and many people seem to buy some to take home. Being able to enjoy the cuisine of a chef who has been the head chef for many years at a high-end hotel restaurant in Shanghai at such a reasonable price is something that can only be done in the Shakujii area. If you like sweet and rich dishes, Shanghai cuisine is perfect for you! If you live around Shakujii or are in the area, please come and visit Komataka.
